Dikatakan Oleh - FRANCIS BACON, Novum Organum, 1620 : there is a reason that a human mind has properties like a glass that gleams and reflects objects. With Objects it looks the same when reflected and looks like the real thing; no, is it like a glass being enchanted? more akin to illusion and falsehood, if it is not spread and consumed.

Kenapa Manusia Percaya?
The belief system of humans is very strong, thick, and durable. As quoted that the author devoted his life to understanding why human beliefs are created, created, maintained, exaggerated, resisted, replaced, and eliminated. In this book's 30 years of research, questions have been answered about how and why all humans believe in what they do in all aspects of their lives. Researchers say they are interested in why people believe strange things or why people agree with this and that? Why do people believe everything that can be trusted and not?
Peneliti menjawab:
We as researchers build our beliefs for several subjective, volitional, emotional, and psychological reasons in the context of family, friends, cultural habits, and society in general; After creating beliefs, we support, give truth, rationalize them with some intellectual reasoning arguments to convince, and show them rationally. By prioritizing belief, the explanation will follow. The researcher of this book mentions that this process is realism that depends on belief. So our perception of reality depends on how we believe we have faith in it. Reality arises from the human mind, but our knowledge of it depends on a certain time.
Kunci Otak Kamu Bekerja
The brain is the key to the human belief program. The existence of sensory data information that goes through the human senses, the brain automatically looks for and gets a pattern, and continues to put the pattern into meaning. There is an initial process that researchers call paternity: more towards finding meaningful patterns in both information and meaningless ones. The second process is called agencyicity: the tendency to provide patterns with meaning, intention, and agency. The brain can evolve to coalesce the spots in the world of our minds into meaningful patterns and into beliefs, and from these beliefs an understanding of our reality can be formed.
Researchers say events after the occurrence of events, the brain starts by looking for and accepting the arrival of evidence that supports these beliefs. The brain also provides a deeper feeling of encouragement to believe in this so that it can speed up the belief process more, and the process looks for ways to generate positive feedback from evidence of belief. Besides that, there are some people who sometimes create beliefs from an amazing experience that does not make them burdened by their personality and the culture around them.
There have even been instances of people after they prepared certain evidence against a position they themselves believed in, by calculating the odds and making decisions without feeling as if they did not pay attention to what they used to do. As is well known, such reversal of belief sometimes occurs in religion and politics so that it is on the main news pages. And as the researcher said, the occurrence of incidents such as religious leaders who change religions and leave their beliefs, or politicians who change parties become independent. Not like the habit of a black swan. Changing beliefs is the same as scientists often do, but not as often as we see from the usual picture of exaggerated "Scientific Method" where only facts are challenged. The reason is that scientists, too, are humans, who can only follow emotional and cognitive desires to create and strengthen beliefs.
